The  IJCLab is an « unité mixte » of the Université de Paris-Sud and the CNRS. It was created in 2020 from a merge of 5 laboratories CSNSM, IMNC, IPNO, LAL and LPT.

The CNRS acts via a dedicated institute called Institut National de Physique Nucléaire et Physique des Particules (IN2P3). Major decisions or recommendations are made about :

ATLAS France is a structure where French groups from both CNRS and CEA meet and get organized. Sub-groups of interest :

• Physique ATLAS France (PAF)
• Calcul ATLAS France (CAF)
