Some of us are strongly involved in the organization of Conferences like :
- Rencontres de Moriond : Etienne Augé (responsable général), Lydia Fayard (coordinatrice EW)
- Rencontres du Vietnam : Lydia Fayard (LHC and beyond in 2014)
- Higgs hunting : Louis Fayard (organisateur).
But the High Energy Physics community also organizes regular schools and trainings, which slides and sometimes video are available. Among them :
- Ecole de Gif (in French) pickup one physics subject per year
- Ecoles IN2P3 (in French) focus on instrumentation
- Schools at Cargèse review the implication of LHC results on theory e.g. in 2014 and 2012
- CERN schools are for PhD or post-docs (physics, instrumentation, accelerator, computing)
- CERN academic training summarize the « state of the art » on a topic.
- Summer student program lectures give a complete introduction of our field within one month.
- European School of HEP (registration for 2014 is open)
- The European School of Instrumentation in Particle Physics is here
ATLAS-LAL people contributes actively to teaching to these, for example:
- Daniel Fournier : Détecteurs: conception et performances Ecole de Gif 2012
- Louis Fayard : Higgs searches at LHC Les Houches 2011, Recherche du Higgs Gif 2012, Higgs physics Lyon 2013.
- Jean-Baptiste de Vivie : European School of HEP 2012
- Marumi Kado : Higgs physics CERN academic training 2013
- François Le Diberder : Physics at future colliders CERN summer school 2013, Rencontres du Vietnam 2012-2013
- Patrick Puzo : ecole IN2P3 « de la physique au détecteur » (2010-2012)
- Laurent Serin : responsable scientifique de l’école IN2P3 « de la physique au détecteur » (2007-2009)
